TAB Teacher Assistant Bootcamp Legendary Teaching through Hands On Adjustments

Has yoga affected your life in such a meaningful way you want to give back somehow? Want to show others how amazing it is but you are not sure what that would look like? Have you envisioned yourself teaching yoga one day and wondered where to begin?

Your answers may come in the form of our Teacher's Assistant Bootcamp. If you have visited Yoga One in the last few months- you have probably had an in-class assistant help you deepen your practice and free you in your postures in ways you never new were possible. We have incorporated this program to create a format to learn the art of hands-on adjusts. You will leave with clear confidence on how to assist the 53 postures that make up the 90 minute Baptiste Vinyasa Flow and after taking this program, you will have a intimate understanding of how to help students keep their body's healthy and away from injury, what to do with existing injuries and how to transfer- by touch- peace, confidence and limitless potential. The added bonus: assisting enhances your own practice in amazing ways! The more intimate you become with the postures, your own body's response will be a deeper, more fulfilling practice. Hands on adjusts create lasting bonds between teachers and students. As a TAB participant, you will leave feeling surer about adjusts you make in class, and this will allow for a more confident and active role in the classroom. Becoming an in-class Teacher's Assistant can get you on the path to teaching, or give you the extra participation you have been looking for. If you are called to do it- you should. If not you- then who? If not now- then when?

What could take you years to understand in your body could just take one precise, effective, supportive adjustment from a well-trained teacher or teaching assistant. This program serves as the pre-requisite for becoming an active Yoga One Yoga Teacher's Assistant. Completion of this comprehensive 21-hour course will give you a solid understanding of alignment and form as well as specific hands-on adjustments for all of the foundation postures. You can apply everything you learn here to teaching any style of yoga and this course is a launching pad for your path to becoming a strong teacher of Vinyasa yoga or wherever your journey leads you. Completion of this course will give you 21 hours C.E.
