Namaste, I have been practicing yoga for about a year now. I was introduced to yoga by a dear friend through Namaste Yoga on FitTV. It was a very mellow practice but an essential tool for any beginner. Last March I decided to try the P90x workout. I got about two months into that little box set of torture before I had a realization: I found that the only part of the the series that made me feel happy was the weekly yoga practice. It calmed my mind and body and left me with a feeling of lightness I had never before experienced. I loved that so much about a regular yoga practice: the feeling of being in tune and connected with existence at such a radical level, so basic and so real. To me, the practice of yoga means that I can connect to what I am, and not just who I am. I am able to just BE.
